Protests spread to at least 10 major US cities

In the United States, protests against immigration raids have spread from Los Angeles and New York City to major cities in Texas.

The protests in New York City have been mostly peaceful, but some arrests have been made.

The National Guard has been deployed in Texas.

Protests have erupted in major cities across the US including LA, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Austin and San Francisco.

In Texas, the governor deployed the National Guard ahead of planned protests after reports of protests.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, where LA is located, has criticized President Trump for downplaying the problems in LA.

President Trump has called the protests an insult to law and order, while also doubling the number of National Guard troops deployed in LA.
